Big M Mobile

Terms of Sale and Website Use

These terms cover purchases from and use of bigmmobile.com.au, operated by Big M Mobile Pty Ltd (ABN 53 693 316 728), trading as Big M Mobile, of Unit 6 / 4 Amherst Drive, Truganina VIC 3029. By using the site, applying for an account or placing an order you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Wholesale accounts

Wholesale pricing is available only to approved business accounts. You may apply through the site; we verify each application and may approve or decline it at our discretion. Until an account is approved, the site shows recommended retail prices or “Price on request” and orders cannot be placed at wholesale prices. You must keep your sign-in details secure and make sure the information on your account stays accurate. We may suspend or close an account that is misused, shares wholesale pricing without authorisation, or breaches these terms.

Prices and GST

Prices for approved accounts are shown excluding GST, with the GST-inclusive amount displayed alongside. Prices shown to guests are recommended retail prices including GST. All prices are in Australian dollars. Prices, product availability and specifications can change without notice. Some products carry minimum order quantities, which the site shows and applies at the cart. If a price or description on the site is plainly wrong, we may cancel an affected order before dispatch and refund anything you have paid for it.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it or dispatch the goods, whichever comes first. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example where stock is unavailable, a listing error is found, or payment does not clear; if that happens we will tell you and refund any amount paid for the cancelled items. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve stock.

Payment

We accept card payments, direct bank transfer and payment in person at our warehouse. Card payments are processed by our card payment processor (WooPayments, built on Stripe infrastructure); card details are entered in fields hosted by the processor and never stored by us. Where an outstanding invoice shows a ‘Pay now’ option in your account, you can pay it by card. Otherwise, invoices are settled by bank transfer (order number as the reference) or in person at the warehouse. Store credit issued by us can be applied to purchases at checkout; store credit is not redeemable for cash except where the law requires otherwise.

Delivery, pickup and same-day

We offer local pickup from our warehouse in Truganina, standard and express delivery, and delivery times shown at checkout for other services. Same-day delivery is available for metro Melbourne orders placed and paid before 11:00 am on a business day. Orders after 11:00 am go out the next business day. Local pickup from our Truganina warehouse is free; pickup hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm. Delivery estimates are made in good faith but are not guaranteed, and we are not responsible for carrier delays outside our control. Please check your goods on arrival or at pickup and tell us promptly about any damage, shortage or incorrect item so we can put it right. Rates and options are listed on our Shipping page.

Title and risk

Ownership of goods passes to you when we have received payment in full for them. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to your address or on handover at pickup. Until ownership passes you must not on-sell goods except in the ordinary course of your business.

Returns and warranty claims

If something is wrong with a product, lodge a claim through the Warranty section of your account, where you can select the product, describe the problem and upload photos, or contact us directly. We assess each claim and, where it is accepted, we will provide the remedy the law requires, which depending on the failure may be a replacement, a refund or another remedy you agree to, such as store credit if you prefer it. Our claims process is how we handle things day to day; it operates alongside your legal rights and never replaces or reduces them. Report damage, shortages or wrong items within 2 business days of delivery. Full details: Returns and warranty.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with a product you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a failure does not amount to a major failure you are entitled to have it fixed or replaced within a reasonable time. These guarantees apply to business purchasers as well where the law extends them, including for goods costing under the monetary threshold set by that law.

Using the parts we sell

Our products are replacement parts and accessories intended for competent installation. You are responsible for confirming a part suits the exact device model and variant you are repairing before ordering and before installation. Damage caused by incorrect installation, modification or use outside the product’s purpose is not a defect in the product, and claims arising from it may be declined, though nothing in this paragraph limits the consumer guarantees.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, arising from the site or a purchase, and where legislation permits a limitation our liability for goods is limited to replacing the goods or refunding their price. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

The website

You may use the site for browsing and buying. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape wholesale pricing, interfere with the site’s operation or use it unlawfully. Content on the site, including product data, images and text, belongs to us or our suppliers, and brand names shown belong to their owners; product brand references describe compatibility and do not imply endorsement by the brand owner.

General

If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes belong to the courts of Victoria. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time you order applies to that order. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
